Day 25: A Source Like No Other…

“14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

In this portion of scripture Paul begins to say a prayer for the people of Ephesus. Paul’s prayer is filled with a desire for the believers to know and understand the magnitude of God’s love.

Although Ephesians is a small book of the Bible and one of many it is very influential. It gives the body of Christ a guideline to live by every day. It helps us as christians grow in Christ both internally and externally. The first part of Ephesians explains to us what to do as Christians and how we should live. The message in Ephesians 3:14-21  is  a foundational one for believers to live upon.  We learn in this passage that we have a multidimensional and ever present source available to us. It is a spiritual truth that can equip us against the battles that await us. Specifically, the highest goal and prayer for the children of God is that they may be strengthened in the inner person by the Holy Spirit, be rooted in God’s multidimensional love, and be filled with the fullness of Christ for Gods eternal glory..

So as we continue on our fast, moving forward and on assignment we must keep in mind that God is in every moment of our lives, our main source.
