Day 11 – Imitating the Faith of Noah

Daily Reading:  Genesis 6:1-9:17

Today’s Challenge:  GIVE IN SECRET!

In the days of Noah, there was much sin upon the land. God’s judgment would soon fall upon the earth but He found one person FAITHFUL. That one person was Noah. Many of you know the beautiful story of “Noah’s Arc”, but let’s glean from some of his exampleship and how we can apply it to our lives today.

1.  Noah was a man who was FOUND FAITHFUL.

2. Noah was a man who was willing to be MOCKED

3. Noah was a man who was willing to be PRECISELY OBEDIENT to GOD.

4. Noah was a man who TRUSTED GOD even in difficult times.

His Challenges were to:

1. Build an Arc…which he had never seen before.

2. He was given precise instructions to Obey in Building the Arc.

3. He was to announce to the people that Judgment would soon come to the Land.

4. He had to be very PATIENT with GOD.

As you read today’s passage I pray that God would minister to you in a profound way.

We must be women who TRUST God even in difficult, challenging, and unforseen TIMES.

Remember, God will PROVIDE all that you NEED to remain FAITHFUL and OBEDIENT to HIM. Just like He provided to Noah the Materials and Dimensions to build the Arc that represented salvation to all those who responded. He surely will provide what YOU need TODAY.

Blessings,

So excited to see the life of Noah, not knowing the outcome of his obedience! I reflect back and just by taking the step of accepting the lord, and to see where i am today, so greatful to God! There’s much more, i can’t even imagine but through FAITH and OBEDIENCE there’s more rain to come!! Great job sista..

What I love about this story that Noah’s wife also gave up everything – her pride possessions, her home she worked hard for, she trusted God even when it hurt, she believed that God would see Noah and her though. Trust God.

Noah was a man who TRUSTED GOD even in difficult times; so was His wife. It seems like when the world comes crashing down around you, or when you’re in a funk you can’t seem to come out of, our focus seems to be on everything else around us, but really we just need to get down on our knees or reach up to God in worship knowing that we CAN TRUST HIM in whatever circumstance to bring us through. Trust=Faith=Obedience; that’s what I’ve gained.
